Hello everybody!
Welcome to my website, let me tell you a little about myself, that is one of the hardest things. My name is John Harrysson. I’m a freelance programmer, flash developer, web designer and just a good guy:).
I was born in Stanislaus, California, in a family of five (my parents, my two younger brothers and me). I was never interested standardized approach to education, I always did my utmost in studies. In college my friends and I made our first website, so we earned our first money. Then I realized that I can work for myself, doing what I love. And it’s logic that I went into the programming field.
My first experience in programming was as an engineering student at the University of Michigan. Although I was a Robotics Engineering major, and thanks to this class I realized that I enjoyed my programming class more than my other classes. I quickly became engrossed in the internet and began taking online courses in HTML, Photoshop and Javascript.
My career as a programmer started during my studies. I had two jobs while an undergraduate: programmer at Media for Masses Ltd and counselor at the Computer Center. After graduating I went to Los Angeles, and founded a job within a few days. I worked for the M & M Computer Division. While I was a programmer Monday-Friday 8-5, I spent the remaining free hours learning Java, HTML, Delphi, Javascript, Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash.
As a freelance programmer, I worked with Delphi and C++ on challenging projects such as voice recognition software and developing tools for analysis and visualization of multi-dimensional data. While freelancing, I started two successful web-based projects to present my work online. While working on these projects, I used a wide range of programming languages including Delphi, JavaScript, PHP, HTML and CSS.
As for my personal life, I also like snowboarding, drawing, crafts, cars traveling etc. Today I enjoy my life and I am happy. The positive attitude towards life always helps me to tackle hardships and brings out the best in me:).
Now I develop free software products, and always ready to take on new and interesting work. So if you have some interesting projects we can discuss it.
